Suggestions for changes to the UI:
1) Key command to activate the "Select" or "Select All" feature or just allow for a select and hold drag of the mouse.
2) When objects selected (ie entity boxes) allow keyboard up/down/left/right keys to move the selected objects.
3) option to arrange selected entities rather than whole diagram.
