I found myself needing to perform a find and replace on business name fields and the find only seems to work on the technical names in models.
I'd like to request the ability to perform a find/replace on business name fields and comment fields

This already exists, but there's a trick... The Object Browser, and hence Find and Replace, work based on the chosen name display. If you have Display Options set to technical names, then the Find/Replace works on technical names only. While it will work on business names if the Display Options is set to Business names.
You can change the Display Options in the next before last icon in the toolbar, or in Tools - Options - Display
